Apartments
Year of Construction
This building is located next to the Music Conservatory of Cuenca, in a classic residential neighborhood, just eight blocks from the city’s central park. Casa de los Frutales has nine apartments on the northern side of the old town. It was a modern-style construction from the 1960s that we renovated in 2013 using contemporary elements to create apartments with terraces and balconies with one of the best views of the city. The goal of this renovation was to maintain the existing green areas and save the different species of traditional fruit trees that can be seen from the large windows of the apartments, creating an atmosphere that blends with nature. The handmade brick is the material that characterizes this work.
